MSMTA Fall Musicale Guidelines for Teachers


Description:  This is a non-competitive solo/ensemble honors recital.
 
Fee: $8.00 per student
Only teachers may submit fees in one payment only to our MSMTA PayPal account.
 
Deadline:  Student registrations and one total payment must be submitted online by the deadline date, which is 2 weeks before the event. 
 
Guidelines:
  • Students up through age 18 or 12th grade may participate.
  • Each teacher may enter up to 10 students performing up to 10 minutes of music total.
  • Only one solo piece per student.
  • Memory is suggested but not required.
  • NO illegal photocopies.  No loose copies,
  • Teachers are responsible for providing and explaining the MSMTA Performance Etiquette Guidelines to students and their families.
  • Teachers may be part of an ensemble.  Ensemble members may also be from outside the teacher’s studio, as long as one performer is a current student of an MSMTA teacher.
  • Recital preference times are taken into consideration, but there is no guarantee all students from the same teacher can be confirmed on the same recital. 
  • NO Changes can be made once entries have been submitted.
